Trust Counsel

If you're the attorney people call when trust documents get complicated, tax laws change, or families need thoughtful guidance through life's biggest wealth planning decisions, we should talk. We are seeking an experienced Trust Counsel to serve as the legal and technical expert supporting HNW and UHNW individuals, families, family offices, and their trusted advisors.

In this highly visible role, you'll partner with relationship managers, fiduciary professionals, and outside counsel to provide sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer strategies, trust administration guidance, and advanced tax planning while helping drive new business and strengthen existing client relationships. You'll also serve as a trusted resource on complex fiduciary matters including decantings, discretionary distributions, trust terminations, accountings, and evolving estate and gift tax legislation.

The ideal candidate brings a JD or LLM, active bar admission, at least 10 years of trust and estate planning experience, and a reputation for technical excellence, sound judgment, and exceptional client service. Experience with New York and New Jersey trust law, cross-border planning, and an established network of professional advisors will position you for success.
