Executive Director (Assisted Living) – The "Anti-Corporate" Turnaround
The Story: Most Executive Director roles today are 80% spreadsheets and 20% leadership. You are stuck behind a desk, submitting tickets for approval that take three weeks to process.
This role is different. We are partnering with a privately-held national operator to find a leader for a 60-unit Assisted Living & Memory Care community in Southeast Arizona. The company recently took over operations, invested in new interiors (flooring, paint, upgrades), and stabilized the clinical team.
Now, they need a Captain.
Why You Want This Role:
- No Red Tape: This organization operates with a "flat" structure. You have direct access to National Directors and the President. Need to spend money to fix a problem? You don’t have to go through 5 layers of bureaucracy to get a "Yes".
- The "Dream" Clinical Partner: You are inheriting a Wellness Director who was promoted from within and is described as the "strongest" leader in the building. You won't be fixing clinical chaos; you’ll be driving culture.
- Relocation Made Easy: We offer a Sign-On Bonus (up to $15k) and can provide Temporary Housing in a model apartment for up to 6 months while you find your new home.
- Get Out of the Office: We are allergic to "Desk Jockeys". If your leadership style is sending emails with the door closed, this isn't for you. We need a "Walk-Around ED" who pours coffee for residents and checks in on caregivers daily.
- Drive the "Oasis" Culture: This is a unique market. We need a leader who wants to plant roots here and build a community that feels like a family, not an old-school facility.
- Occupancy Growth: You have a strong sales partner; your job is to drive the culture that makes people stay, pushing us toward high occupancy.
The Requirements:
- MUST HAVE: Active Arizona Assisted Living Manager License. (Due to state regulations, we cannot accept out-of-state transfers unless you already hold the AZ credential ).
- Financial Discipline: Experience managing NOI without sacrificing care.
