Controller
Seeking a passionate and experienced Controller to join the accounting team in a small rural hospital located in a quaint, southern rural Wyoming town.
As Controller, you will be responsible for the overall financial health of the hospital.
Your key duties will include:
- Overseeing all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Preparing accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Managing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local accounting regulations specific to healthcare.
- Working closely with the CFO, department heads, and other members of the leadership team to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives.
We are seeking a candidate with:
- An accounting background, preferrably within a small, rural healthcare setting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on cost control and efficiency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues across departments.
- Proficiency in financial software commonly used in healthcare
